I have recently bought a Palm Treo Pro, and I would like to share my opinion with you on this blog.
Product Specifications:
Rádio:

- Quadriband GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
- Triband UMTS: 850/1900/2100
- GPRS
- EDGE
- UMTS PS Data
- HSDPA Cat. 5 (3,6 Mb)
Processor:
- Processador dual core MSM7201 de 400 MHz
Memory:
- SD card expansion
OS:
- Windows Mobile 6.1
Connectivity:
- Infrared
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
- Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g)
General:
- Comes with Stylus
- You can take some nice advantage of your treo pro by installing cool widgets (see this link)
Strengths:
- 400mhz processor
- Size and design
- Soft keyboard
- Play youtube and other streaming videos
- You can remote desktop any PC or server from this device as long as both are in the same networks (LAN, Internet, etc).
Weaknesses:
- 2.0 MP camera without flash
- Lack of custom system upgrades on the web (other brands like HTC have plenty of customized OS)
- This mainly happens with language support. It is almost impossible to find out OS in other languages to load on your treo pro
In my opinion the battery discharges quickly. I need to recharge the device every day, even if I do not use much.
The GPS takes a long time to find out the satellites.
Conclusion:
This is a robust smartphone, with a nice design, runs on windows mobile 6.1. Data plans work pretty fast on that 3G enabled phone.
